Dogs, is the short answer. Dogs are my favorite animal, and so far, Finn is my favorite dog. He is a border collie mix, and the breed is typically known for being very active, but Finn has seizures and the medicine he takes to control them also makes him sluggish.
He has a triple coat (typically border collies are outdoor, working dogs.) Hair all over my house, my clothes and just about everywhere is a part of my life now. But every other thing about Finn is perfect. He loves hanging out with me and my husband, and he is careful to spend equal time with each of us.
Finn will stare into your eyes, his are beautiful and brown, He has freckles and and beautiful ears (like a cocker spaniel, which I would guess is the “mix”. He has a 3 in patch of white fur, not far from his tail. He loves it when I scratch directly on that spot! I believe it was love at first sight for both of us when he arrived in our home. We have had a lot of dogs in our lifetime together, and each current one is usually our favorite, but I cannot imagine any dog being better than Finn.
